The alarm is factory assembled of a rugged aluminum base and PVC enclosure and utilizes a pressure switch with a rating of 3000 psi. There is a Green blinking “OK” light when gas supply is adequate and a Red blinking “LOW” light when gas supply is low.  In addition, an audible alarm activates when purge gas is low.  The alarm operates on a 9-volt battery, included, which can give up to a year of operation, dependent upon usage.

The regulator/flowmeter hose connection is 5/8″-18 Right Hand External “B”.   An adapter can be used to convert this regulator/flowmeter connection to 1/4″ NPT Male.  Sold separately on this site.
